Imagine; horses in redwood forests, on black sand beaches, on great sandy dunes, in turquoise waters and with vibrant mountain backdrops. In this tour we'll photograph horses in all of these beautiful locations that are typical for New Zealand. The north island is also known for geothermal, steamy and colorful landscapes which we'll be experiencing as well.
We will travel big parts of the north island; south center up to the far north. This tour will offer a great variety of photoshoots consisting of horses in landscapes, horses in action, portraits in stunning locations and the element of wild horses. Our models will be of a variety of breeds including native breeds such as the Kaimanawa horses. We will photograph horses individually, in pair and in herds. A great opportunity to create both artistic equine images and the classic striking horse photo for your portfolio.
This tour has a 7 nights, 8 days itinerary. Expect a minimum of 8 unique photo shoots with horses. Included in price is also a unique cave experience tour and ferry tickets to one island day visit.
How does this work?

How to book
Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the contact form at the end of this page. Please include your info needed for the invoice and/or your questions about the tour. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible with answers or confirmation of booking and a detailed invoice for the fee.

Price
Price is 27 950 SEK including VAT. Non-refundable booking fee of 10 000 SEK is payed at the time of booking and holds your spot. Full payment is due 4 weeks before workshop starts.
03.
Payment
An invoice for the booking fee will be sent to your email and it needs to be paid within a few days for your spot to be secured. Payment can be made with international bank transfer, with PayPal (send money as friend or I have to charge an extra fee) or Swish (for Swedish citizens).
04.
After booking
I'll send you confirmation when payment arrives. Around 6 weeks before start date detailed information about the workshop and final invoice will be sent out to all participants. If you have questions regarding flights, arrival etc. before this please let me know how I can help.
How many participants?
Maximum of 7 participants. The tour needs to have minimum of 3 participants to happen.
Who can attend?
Preferably you should know basics about your settings and camera. Tour will be held in English language and are open for International participants.
Fitness level?
For this tour you must be able to hike longer distances on easy/medium level. Some locations might require hiking up hills.
How can I use the photos?
There is no limitations in use of images taken during this tour. You can sell the images for personal and commercial use and distribute it to sell prints etc.
Accommodation & meals?
Price include shared room. Possibility to upgrade to single rooms. Breakfast is included in price.
Do I need to send photos to the owners?
All photos finished and published on social media/webpage or used in webshop etc. should be send to the horse owner within 1 week of publishing.
