The horse through history is known for being described as art; for me the Lusitano is the epitome of this. Through the purpose and breeding of this horse, the selection of traits has made them walk this earth with a special presence. The Lusitano horse is something you must experience through your lens.
We will mainly spend time in the region of Alentejo, where we will photograph many Lusitano horses and have master classes on equine photography and editing. There will be special locations where we can create unique photos of these baroque horses; such as stunning rural landscapes, typical arena and historical architecture. At the end of the workshop our highlight will be action photos at the beach during sunrise. Included in the workshop price is also a portfolio review during a personal zoom meeting which will take place after the workshop ended.

How does this work?

How to book
Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the contact form at the end of this page. Please include your info needed for the invoice and/or your questions about the workshop. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible with answers or confirmation of booking and a detailed invoice for the fee.

Price
Price is 26 950 SEK including VAT. Non-refundable booking fee of 10 000 SEK is payed at the time of booking and holds your spot. Full payment is due 4 weeks before workshop starts.
03.
Payment
An invoice for the booking fee will be sent to your email and it needs to be payed within a few days for your spot to be secured. Payment can be made with international bank transfer, with PayPal (send money as friend or I have to charge an extra fee) or Swish (for Swedish citizens).

After booking
I'll send you confirmation when payment arrives. Around 6 weeks before start date detailed information about the workshop and final invoice will be sent out to all participants. If you have questions regarding flights, arrival etc. before this please let me know how I can help.
How many participants?
Maximum of 10 participants. The workshop needs to have at least 4 participants to happen.
Who can attend?
Preferably you should know basics about your settings and camera. Workshop will be held in English language and are open for International participants.
How many photoshoots?
In total there will be 6 different photo sessions of different locations and style. In addition we will have 2 masterclasses covering equine photography & editing. We will also have 2 guided editing sessions.
How can I use the photos?
There is no limitations in use of images taken during this workshop. You can sell the images for personal and commercial use and distribute it to sell prints etc.
Accommodation & meals?
Price include shared room. It's possible to upgrade to single room, please let me know in advance. Breakfast is included in price.
Do I need to send photos to the owners?
All photos finished and published on social media/webpage or used in webshop etc. should be send to the horse owner within 1 week.
